Ticket Holder Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply only to ticket holders attending the Scottish Marketing Summit 2026 (“the Event”).
By purchasing a ticket and/or attending the Event, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. The Organiser
The Scottish Marketing Summit 2026 (“SMS26”) is organised by Socially Creative, trading as Scottish Marketing Summit (“the Organiser”, “we”, “us”).
The business is registered in Sheffield, United Kingdom.
2. Event Details
Event name: Scottish Marketing Summit 2026
Date: 29th October 2026
Venue: Hampden Stadium, Glasgow
Format: In-person only
Event details are correct at the time of publishing but may be subject to change where reasonably required.
3. Tickets & Entry
A valid ticket is required for entry to the Event.
Tickets are issued to a named individual only.
Tickets must be purchased via official Scottish Marketing Summit sales channels.
Entry may be refused if the ticket holder cannot be verified.
4. No Refunds & No Transfers
All ticket sales are final.
Tickets are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Tickets are non-transferable and may not be resold, gifted, exchanged, or reassigned.
This applies to all ticket types, including early-bird, VIP, discounted, or promotional tickets.
By purchasing a ticket, you accept and agree to this policy in full.
5. Event Changes
The Organiser reserves the right to make reasonable changes to:
The Event schedule or timings
Speakers or session content
The Event venue within the same city
The Event format where required
Such changes do not entitle ticket holders to a refund or transfer.
6. Force Majeure
The Organiser shall not be liable for cancellation, delay, or changes to the Event caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Acts of God
Government restrictions or guidance
Public health emergencies
Venue unavailability
Travel disruption
In such circumstances, the Organiser may reschedule the Event or provide alternative arrangements at its discretion.
7. Attendance & Conduct
All ticket holders are expected to behave respectfully and professionally.
The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove, any attendee whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate, or who breaches venue rules or staff instructions.
Removal under this clause will be without refund.
8. Photography, Filming & Media
The Event will be photographed, filmed, and recorded.
By attending SMS26, you grant the Organiser the unrestricted right to use your image, voice, and likeness captured during the Event for:
Marketing and promotional materials
Social media content
Website and email marketing
Future Scottish Marketing Summit promotions
There is no opt-out from this clause.
9. Intellectual Property & Recording
All Event content, including talks, presentations, recordings, slides, and digital resources, is protected by copyright.
Ticket holders may not record, reproduce, distribute, share, or sell Event content without prior written consent.
Any digital resources provided are for personal use only.
10. Personal Property & Equipment
Attendees are responsible for their own personal property, including laptops, cameras, and equipment.
The Organiser accepts no responsibility for loss, damage, or theft of personal items during the Event.
11. Liability
Attendance at the Event is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
The Organiser accepts no responsibility for injury, loss, damage, or theft during the Event.
The Organiser’s total liability shall not exceed the value of the ticket purchased.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Data & Communications
Personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and the Scottish Marketing Summit Privacy Policy.
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to receive Event-related communications. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland.
Any disputes arising in connection with the Event shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
14. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a ticket and/or attending the Scottish Marketing Summit 2026, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
